Workplace Coaching Qualifications
Levels 3 and 5
Coaching provides fantastic added value to training programmes and generates amazing results when used by managers and leaders within an organisation. We recommend that any development programme should harness the use of coaches to maximise the impact of learning back in the workplace.
Who is a coaching and mentoring qualification for?
At one level of qualification they are for team leaders and managers who operate as workplace coaches as part of their normal work role and at the more comprehensive level (level 5) they are for individuals who are significantly involved in workplace coaching and mentoring.
Award, Certificate or Diploma?
You can choose an Award or Certificate at Level 3. The Award takes 4 days and covers the topics of:
- Understanding good practice in workplace coaching
- Organising workplace coaching
- Undertaking supervised coaching in the workplace
In addition to these topics, the certificate includes longer periods of coaching practice.
At Level 5, you can choose between a certifcate or a diploma. The diploma is includes around 100 hours of planning, organising and carrying out workplace coaching.
