The People Development Team - the highly successful training company based in Ware – are the number one UK supplier of Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) accredited training programmes boasting the highest number of registered delegates last year.

“We moved up from second place overtaking a large Government body.” said Robin Lodge, Accredited Programmes Director. “It’s an amazing feat because delivering accredited programmes is about quality not quantity – we are regularly and thoroughly audited and the delegates who go through our programmes have tough challenges to complete to achieve the qualification.” PDT also has a very high pass for their delegates.

The ILM have over 500,000 alumni throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland, where PDT are now also accredited. “There’s more good news,” continued Robin, “we’re also recognised by the FAS funding body in Ireland, so we can deliver the ILM programmes in Ireland and get Government funding for them. This is a great opportunity and complements the current funded ILM programmes we are running in Essex.”

The company are planning to celebrate their success in the summer. “It’s only March and it’s already been a tremendous year,” said Heather Butler, PDT’s MD. “We received a fantastic IIP review, we’re extremely successful with the ILM and now we are growing the business in both the North West and in Ireland where we already have a growing customer base.”

Looking to the future, Heather is currently working with her Board on recruitment: “Growth for any organisation has to be sustainable.
