Showcase Events

The People Development Team is pleased to be able to offer your organisation a free showcase workshop on a range of key management and leadership practices.

These focused, dynamic in-company sessions last two hours and require a minimum of six of your managers to participate.

With our facilitator, the group will build an understanding of the chosen subject, the ideas and models used and how it could support your strategy and then decide on how to move forward.

The overall aim is threefold:

  • To challenge current thinking and practice from within the organisation
  • To provide ideas and inspiration from current thinking outside of the organisation
  • To enable you to see the People Development Team in action

The following topics are proving popular with clients at the moment:

  • Making the most of your training budgets and ROI - For many, utilising the training budget has become of major importance in these challenging times so ensuring that this money is well spent is critical. This session takes the time to look at planning and implementation stages, helping to identify the KPIs for success and the behavioural changes that are needed to ensure training is successful.
  • Talent Management - Keeping and retaining your best talent during the downturn is of key importance to the long term success of the organisation. During this session we will examine what behaviours and skills those individuals need so they are ready to move your business forward.
  • VIVE - Leadership impact from the inside out - The successful leader develops, hones and balances four key ingredients - Vulnerability, Intuition, Variation and Energy (VIVE) to create a powerful authentic leadership image. Learn what this means to us as leaders in the everyday organisation for enhanced results.
  • Culture change - This session examines the current culture in your organisation and where it needs to be, in the future, to meet your strategic objectives and how you can address the difference between the two. This is a very practical session that engages all the participants from the start providing a real focal point for discussion and debate on the changes needed within the organisation.
  • Leadership - Leadership is critical in any organisation, and never more so, than in today's climate. This session examines the six key leadership styles and your natural preference. Together we look at the strengths and dangers of each style using a uniquely effective game. The session ends with a period of personal action planning to develop your leadership potential.
  • Performance Management - Performance Management is an important aspect of organisational life. This session takes an alternative view to performance management, moving away from the process and looking at the behaviours that support effective working within the organisation. During the session we will explore the true meaning of performance management and how to move away from the tick box culture.
  • The benefits of accredited management qualifications - This session provides an opportunity to really understand how accredited programmes work and the ways in which the can be customised to generate genuine and measureable business benefits. The management qualification has significantly changed over the last two years and we will explore what these changes will mean for your future managers and leaders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your managers to gain a great understanding of a topic, to see us in action and for us to get to know you as a potential client.
