What are Management Qualifications?

Qualifications are a formal way of recognising learner achievements. The accreditation of learning recognises the acquisition of that learning and, more importantly, the subsequent transfer of learning back into the workplace.

Many assessment systems are now far more focused on workplace activity which helps to drive the learning in the workplace as well as drive the organisation to understand how the learning is being applied into business performance.

We deliver management qualifications for team leaders, first line managers and middle managers, as well as workplace coaching qualifications and train the trainer.

Why choose an accredited qualification?

Accredited qualifications are programmes that are recognised across the UK and in many cases Europe and beyond that use National Standards as the basis of the assessment process. This means that these qualifications act as a common currency, allowing national or multinational organisations to have a benchmark in that is meaningful.

In the UK the QCF (Qualifications & Credit Framework) gives credits for each module and learners can then transfer these credits to other relevant qualifications.

The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) is the UK's largest management awarding body, combining industry-leading qualifications and specialist member services. It was the first management and leadership awarding body to offer free membership to its students.

The People Development Team has been an accredited centre for the ILM since January 2001. We have successfully qualified thousands of learners.

City & Guilds

The People Development Team has been an accredited centre for City & Guilds since May 2007. City & Guilds offers learners over 500 qualifications in 28 industry areas so that they can learn skills that equip them to fulfil their career ambitions. The ILM is part of the City & Guilds group.

We are accredited to award the 7300 Introduction to Trainer Skills qualification. We use this award to supplement a number of our management development programmes.
